Maiden of the Forest

This one was a mammoth task!! I had to use a stool to climb and paint and don’t even ask me about varnishing it :p

The Maiden of the forest is a very special commission piece for my brother in Arizona. She represents happiness, self love and a feeling of being comfortable in one’s skin, proudly independent.

Whatever be the blues of life, a beautiful soul always conquers all :)
